
Financial Secretary Paul Chan will depart tomorrow afternoon for Bali, Indonesia, to attend the Group of Twenty Leaders’ Summit to be held next Tuesday and Wednesday, as part of the delegation of the People’s Republic of China.
At the summit, leaders of the world’s major economies will have discussions on economic, financial, political and other issues for co-operation, the Government said.
Mr Chan will return to Hong Kong next Thursday morning. Deputy Financial Secretary Michael Wong will act as Financial Secretary during his absence.
