Financial Secretary Paul Chan has cancelled the remaining parts of his visit to Saudi Arabia since he tested positive for COVID-19 through a rapid antigen test (RAT), the Government said today.
Previously, Mr Chan had obtained negative results in his daily RATs.
The Financial Secretary's Office said Mr Chan was originally scheduled to complete his visit and depart for Hong Kong today. But he will stay in Riyadh for a short while now, and seek to comply with relevant health requirements before returning to Hong Kong as soon as possible.
