The Chinese New Year Home Visit Programme co-ordinated by the Home Affairs Department continued today with principal officials paying visits to grassroots families in Tuen Mun and distributing blessing bags in celebration of the Chinese New Year.

Financial Secretary Paul Chan, together with Secretary for Environment & Ecology Tse Chin-wan, and Secretary for Development Bernadette Linn visited an elderly singleton, elderly doubletons and an ethnic minority family living in Yau Oi Estate in Tuen Mun.

Deputy Financial Secretary Michael Wong, together with Secretary for Housing Winnie Ho, Secretary for Education Choi Yuk-lin and Acting Secretary for Financial Services & the Treasury Joseph Chan also visited the elderly doubletons living in the estate.

The principal officials chatted with those they visited to understand their daily needs and gave them Chinese New Year blessing bags with the aim of delivering seasonal greetings on behalf of the Government and celebrating the festive joy with citizens.
