
The Land Registry recorded 4,835 sale and purchase agreements for all building units received for registration in September, down 7.7% compared with August and 34.7% lower year-on-year.
The total consideration for such agreements fell 62% from August to $34.8 billion in September while a 48% year-on-year decrease was recorded.
Of the agreements, 3,875 were for residential units, down 6.3% from August and 33.7% lower than a year ago.
The total consideration of residential units was $29.1 billion, a decrease of 10.5% compared with August and down 48.1% from September last year.
There were 419,363 land register searches last month.
