Secretary for Financial Services & the Treasury Christopher Hui will depart for Incheon, Korea, on May 1 for the 56th Annual Meeting of the Board of Governors of the Asian Development Bank (ADB).
Mr Hui will meet ADB President Masatsugu Asakawa and the organisation's senior personnel on the sidelines of the meeting.
Moreover, the treasury chief will have bilateral meetings with the top management of the central bank, the financial supervisory authority and an influential business association of Korea.
He will also have exchange sessions with representatives from local banking and fintech industries.
Mr Hui will return to Hong Kong on May 4. During his absence, Under Secretary for Financial Services & the Treasury Joseph Chan will be Acting Secretary.
